2019 Year in Review: The RLH Perspective

As we prepare for the new year (and decade) in front of us, we thought it would be worthwhile to look back at a few RLH highlights of 2019. Last year, we welcomed a new member into our family of portfolio companies while two companies with which we had worked closely for a number of years transitioned to new ownership.
We are pleased to have entered into a partnership with the founders of a consulting firm providing finance function solutions to complex public and large private companies. In addition, over the course of 2019, we also achieved two successful exits:
Our portfolio company, The Chartis Group, was acquired by Audax Private Equity. Chartis is a premier advisory firm that helps the senior leadership of hospitals and integrated healthcare delivery networks address key challenges via strategic planning, informatics and technology, and health analytics. During RLH’s involvement, the Company grew three-fold while, as importantly, earning numerous recognitions of the quality of its solutions and of the strength of its culture.
In a pending transaction publicly announced in December, our portfolio company Clarity Insights has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Accenture, a leading global professional services company. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Chicago, Clarity provides data science and AI/ML engineering capabilities for large enterprises, and serves as a strategic partner to clients across a range of industries, particularly healthcare, financial services and insurance. Clarity grew significantly over the past five years while earning recognitions from Gartner and Forrester as well as numerous awards as a Best Place to Work.
We look forward to welcoming more enterprises into our portfolio in 2020 and invite your referrals of strong management teams that are building market-leading, high-growth, profitable businesses in the $25 – 150 million revenue range within the sectors of business services, healthcare, and government services.
