Lead with loyalty. The rest tends to follow.

With a background in high-stakes squirrel surveillance and neighborhood patrol, Grey has leveraged his Bernedoodle-bred intelligence, intuition, and just the right amount of goofiness to bring a unique blend of vigilance and heart to RLH. Known for his unwavering loyalty and exceptional emotional awareness (a true hallmark of his breed), Grey has an uncanny ability to read the room - whether that means offering a perfectly timed cuddle or sounding the alarm at a suspicious delivery driver. His secret weapon? A 70-pound “lap dog” persona and an irresistible, curly-coated charm that makes him impossible to ignore.

Authored the widely circulated (but never formally published) paper, “Who Let the Dogs Out: A Risk-Based Framework for Managing Squirrels, Buses, and Other Existential Threats,” now considered required reading among neighborhood watch groups.

Chief Co-Pilot

A natural companion with a love for car rides, Grey approaches every journey with enthusiasm—head out the window, ears flapping, and a strict policy of supervising all passing vehicles (especially buses, which remain highly suspicious). Whether it’s a quick errand or a longer adventure, Grey ensures no ride goes unmonitored.

Gentle Giant

Despite his imposing size, Grey is all heart. Equal parts protector and cuddle expert, he has mastered the art of being both incredibly gentle and deeply devoted. His approach to cats remains…optimistic. He loves them. He chases them. He believes, one day, they’ll understand.

Hobbies

Long walks with frequent security stops, enthusiastically (and unsuccessfully) befriending cats, issuing formal complaints about squirrels, conducting perimeter checks on delivery personnel, claiming entire couches as “lap space,” and reminding everyone that he is, without question, the most loyal member of the team.
